The mission and objectives established at the Association of African Women for Research Development, represent a plan that we feel will help advance the social economic, and political reforms Africa urgently needs.

To build a powerful African women's movement Linking human rights to the theory and practice of development.
To bring forth African women's contribution to sustainable and democratic development.
